Original Students to make a cameo in Student of The Year 2.

The Alia, Varun and Sid trio completely won us over in their debut film, Student Of The Year. Karan Johar is all set to produce the sequel with director Punit Malhotra in 2018. Tiger Shroff is the lead of this sequel and there are speculations of Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter being cast in this film.

While the actors are getting ready for SOTY 2, the graduates from SOTY are feeling nostalgic and are looking forward to be a part of the movie somehow.

When asked about the same, Alia said, "I am sure Karan will find a way to associate us in some way. For all you know, there might be some reference to us in the second part. Never say never! it could be possible. Tiger Shroff is fantastic and I know the film is going to be a lot of fun.”

She added, “The love started pouring in right after the release of the film. All credit goes to the songs and the look of the film. It’s been an amazing journey since then.”

The Judwaa 2 trailer will bring back memories

We all remember and love David Dhawan’s Judwaa, starring Salman Khan, that release back in 1997. Two decades latest, the ace director has decided to bring back the magic with a remake to the film, Judwaa 2.

What’s more? The film maker has decided to cast his son Varun Dhawan to play the lead. With Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu as the love interests of the judwaas.

There has been a constant buzz about the movie ever since the announcement of the movie was made and Varun chose to share the first poster of the movie a few days ago, to honor his father on his birthday. While we were excited to see the poster, we could not wait to watch the trailer of the movie.

Well the Dhawan sure know how to keep their fans happy. Earlier today, the film maker decided to release the movie trailer and give us a glimpse of what we are in for with the movie. True to his work the movie is a remake of the original. The trailer showcases some of the most iconic songs and scenes from the original, with a modern twist, which is sure to take you on a walk down memory lane.

With Vivan Bhatena as the villain and Anupam Kher will be seen playing the role of Jacqueline’s father.

First Look: The Judwaa 2 poster is out!

With ace director David Dhawan turning 65 today, his son Varun Dhawan took to social media to share the poster of their upcoming movie Judwaa 2. This will be David’s 43rd movie and the entire cast is super excited.

Two decades ago, David had given the Bollywood industry Judwaa, a movie that won our hearts not just because of it’s amazing storyline but also the amazing star-cast consisting of Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor and Ravina Tandan. While Salman was the original judwaa, we will see David’s son Varun fill in Salman’s shoes this time. Varun will be seen playing the role of Raja and Prem in the movie.

Just like Salman romanced Karishma and Ravina in the original Judwaa movie, Varun will be seen working with Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu.

The two lead actress also took to their social media to share the movie poster.

What’s more? Well the actors have promised us double the fun with this second instalment of the Judwaa series and if rumors are to be believed, Salman Khan will also do a cameo in this movie, playing a double role. Guess it only makes sense to pay homage to the original Judwaa through the new one.

The movie is scheduled to release of the 29th of September and we cannot wait to see how the movie turns out.

Varun Dhawan To Work In Shoojit Sircar’s Next Project

Varun Dhawan, who is currently busy shooting for the movie Judwaa 2 with his father David Dhawan, has apparently bagged a role in Shoojit Sircar’s next project. The star took to Instagram yesterday to share his excitement about working with the ace director on his upcoming project titled 'October'.

The movie will be written by Juhi Chaturvedi who had also written movies like Vicky Donor and Piku for the director. The duo will start working on ‘October’, September onwards. The movie is supposed to be a slice of life love story that will speak to the masses.

This will be the first movie together for Varun and Shoojit and here’s how Varun expressed his excitement, “I have been an ardent fan of Shoojit da's work and have always wanted to work with him. October is a beautiful story in which I play a character with many layers. It's a difficult character to play. I just want to surrender to my part and show people a new side of me. Shoojit da, Ronnie (Lahiri) and Juhi have always made good cinema I feel I feel grateful to join their team.

Shoojit, who has directed movies like Vicky Donor, Piku and Madras Café, has also produced Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink and is now looking forward to working with Varun. Here’s what he had to say, “It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real life moments that we see around us. October is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.

While we cannot wait to see Varun Dhawan is a whole new character, we are excited to hear about the new collaboration.
