Indra Kumar’s next will star Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra!

Looks like, Ajay Devgn is all set to give his best shot in 2020. Ushering with a blockbuster, the actor is already high on success with Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior. Not to forget his previous outing in Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal which was a massive hit too. Now the director is prepping up for a social comedy flick starring the superstar himself.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra has been roped in as the co-star in the film. Collaborating for the first time, we cannot hold our excitement to see this duo’s comical avatar on the BIG screen. Rumour has it that Rakul Preet Singh has been approached as the leading lady for the film. Sounds interesting, right?

Due to prior work commitments of the lead actors, the film is likely to go on floors in May. Speaking about the new project, the sources said,” The filmmaker had narrated three scripts to Ajay. Since he has done a spate of serious movies including biopics, actioners, and historical dramas, the actor was looking for a light-hearted comedy. Ajay zeroed in on this script as he liked the larger point the story tried to make while eliciting laughs.”

The sources also quoted,” The film is along the lines of the Munna Bhai series as it revolves around two bumbling do-gooders with hearts of gold, who are out to reform society. It has been Indra Kumar’s passion project; he had been scripting it for years. He is thrilled that the story will finally be translated on screen.”

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will star in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Bhuj: The Pride of India along with a special appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra recently wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film Shershaah.

Sidharth Malhotra gave us a return gift on his birthday!

Bollywood’s heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra turns 35 today and we can’t get enough of him already. Hosting a grand party for his A-lister friends, the actor also made sure to celebrate one with his fans as well. On this BIG day, he revealed some major news that completely left us awe-struck.

Sidharth Malhotra launched the posters of his upcoming film Shershaah which is truly out of this world. The film is based on the life of a martyr Vikram Batra who laid down his life during Kargil War of 1999. Paying tribute to the ‘real’ hero, the thrilling posters can literally put you on the edge of your seat.

On the occasion of Army Day, the actor expressed his gratitude towards our soldiers on twitter-

Essaying the role of Vikram Batra was not easy for the actor as he confessed in a recent interview and said “Everyone knows about his heroic stories from newspapers and articles. When you meet people who have lived with him, his family or have known him personally, you feel an immense kind of pressure. First, you hope to do justice to his personal life and family”.

Further, the actor says, “It’s something that is very close to my heart. It’s like a passion project. It’s being directed by Vishnu Varadhan, who is a prolific director from the south. He is making his Hindi debut with this film.”

Bankrolled by Karan Johar, the film is directed by Vishnuvardhan. The biopic is slated to release on 3rd July 2020.

Sidharth Malhotra’s love for the south!

Ever since Marjawaan, Sidharth Malhotra has been the talk of the town for all the positive reasons. Also for making appearances with his rumored girlfriend Kiara Advani. 😉 Despite some unique elements like a mute lead actress and a dwarf-sized villain, the film received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Post-Marjawan, the actor now has another interesting project coming up for him and that is none other than a Telugu film remake.

Just like Marjaawan, Sidharth Malhotra is doing the rounds for a new action project on the block. This movie will be a remake of a Telugu film which is produced by Dil Raju who FYI is also producing Shahid Kapoor’s next Jersey. As per the sources, Sidharth Malhotra has already signed the untitled project as the lead. The makers, in fact, are already in the script development process of the film.

Meanwhile, Bollywood has perfected the formula of popularizing the cult south movies in the industry. Not to forget, the much-talked about Kabir Singh which was also a remake of 2017’s Telugu film Arjun Reddy. Now, we cannot keep calm to witness another blockbuster in the making.

Meanwhile, the actor will also star in an upcoming biopic Shershah based on the life of a Kargil war martyr Vikram Batra. He will be seen alongside Kiara Advani, Paresh Rawal, and Jaaved Jaffery. This one seems like a promising one too, right?
