Kabir Khan casts Ranveer Singh to play ‘Kapil Dev’ in his next.

Kabir Khan is stepping into a new genre all together for his next! Yes, as per the reports the filmmaker is venturing into movies based on sports and hence we hear that Ranveer Singh has been finalized to play ace cricketer Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s next directorial venture.

The film will reportedly be backed by Phantom films, co-owned by filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena.

The story will revolve around India’s win against West Indies during the finals in 1983 World Cup, and how our nation lifted the first cricket world cup trophy ever under Kapil Dev’s captaincy! Now, this must be great news for all the cricket fans out there, isn’t it?

We are waiting for a statement from Ranveer’s side too on this!

We all know how much we’ve loved all the Golmaal series. Rohit Shetty is back yet again with ‘Golmaal Again’ for all the fans who waited long!


The leading ladies in the movie this time are Tabu and Parineeti Chopra. The title track of the movie was something everyone anxiously waited for, so here it is!


Brijesh Shandilya and Aditi Singh Sharma are the singers of this track and Kumaar has written the lyrics of it. The movie is scheduled to release on 20th October this year.

Look who is going to play ‘The Great Khali’ in his biopic!

Who doesn’t know the great ‘Khali’ whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana!  The great wrestler from India has come a long way, initially the person who worked for Punjab state police dreamt big to become a world renowned wrestler. With his determination and hard work he is fondly called as ‘The Great Khali’ today.


Reportedly, the 7 feet tall wrestler has given a go ahead for a movie based on his life to the makers. As the talks are on about the movie, we are truly excited to know what all aspects the movie will cover of the great wrestler.


Sources also say that the dark horse of Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput has been approached to play this special role. Well, we are sure Sushant will impress us yet again for we have seen him moving us with his performance in another biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story which was released last year.


All we can say is we are anxiously waiting for the next update on the movie by the makers!

He then went to Hansraj College to earn his bachelor's degree in Economics,  later he enrolled for a master's degree in Mass Communications at Jamia Millia Islamia but had to leave midway because of his acting career. Shah Rukh Khan also attended the National School of Drama in Delhi during his early career in Bollywood. 




3. Ameesha Patel – Ameesha is a gold medalist in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Before that she also did Bio-genetic engineering for two years. She was known to be a brilliant student.




4. Siddharth – Do you remember Siddharth from Rang De Basanti fame? He was an all-rounder during his college. He has a Bachelor of Commerce honors degree from Kirori Mal College from University of Delhi. Later he went to do his MBA from SPJIMR, Mumbai and was awarded CNBC Manager of the Year Award 1999 for his eloquent speaking skills.




5. Vidya Balan – The versatile actress first completed her graduation in Sociology from St. Xavier’s college Mumbai and before getting into films also completed her masters in the same subject from Mumbai University.




6. R Madhavan – Madhavan went on to do his graduation in Electronics. He gained a scholarship to represent India as a cultural ambassador. He was recognised as amongst the leading NCC cadets in Maharashtra, which allowed him to make a trip with seven others as NCC cadets to England. He received training with the British Army, the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.  He also earned a postgraduate degree in public speaking and won an award for Indian championship in public speaking and later represented India at the ‘Young Businessmen Conference’ in Tokyo, Japan.




7. John Abraham – He is a perfect example of good looks with brains.  After schooling from Bombay Scottish, John went to Jai Hind College, Mumbai for graduation in Economics. Later he got an MBA degree from Narsee Monjee Institute Of Management Studies.




8. Soha Ali Khan – Soha was very good in her studies. Her schooling was from The British School, New Delhi following which she went to Oxford to study Geography. This wasn’t the end, Soha Ali Khan later went to study International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science and earned a Masters Degree.




9. Randeep Hooda –  Randeep completed his schooling from DPS, R.K. Puram New Delhi has bachelors and masters degree both in business management and human resource management from Melbourne.




10. Parineeti Chopra – Parineeti who always wanted to be an investment banker was very good in studies.  During her teenage she moved to London where she received a triple honours degree

Tiger Shroff to don bald look in ‘Baaghi 2’.

Do you remember the first poster of ‘Baaghi 2’ that was released in May this year? The one which showed Tiger Shroff in his toned physique holding a riffle, almost ready for a combat?


Well as per the sources the actor will be sporting two looks in the film. The second poster of the film is yet to be unveiled, and it is said that the actor will be donning two different looks in the movie. One of them showing him nearly bald. This makes you excited?


Baaghi 2 is being directed by Ahmed Khan and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios.


The movie is scheduled for its release on April 27, 2018.

Narendra Modi invites Anushka Sharma to join him in ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ initiative.

Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi invited Anushka Sharma to join him in the campaign called ‘Swachhata Hi Deva’, he believes her presence would make a lot more difference and would inspire more people to support the movement.

Anushka Sharma is one of the persons highly supporting the campaign, wished Narendra Modi on his 67th birthday and wrote “Happy Birthday to our PM Narendra Modi-ji. Thank you sir for the invitation to join the Swachhata Hi Seva movement.”

In the letter sent by Modi ji to Anushka Sharma, it was also written “In the coming days, we will commemorate Gandhi Jayanti. An inspiration to billions across generations and borders, Mahatma Gandhi recognised that our attitude towards cleanliness also reflects our attitude towards society. Bapu believed in achieving cleanliness through community participation. Bapu also strongly believed that ‘swachhata’ is for each one of us to practise. Inspired by the noble thoughts and a faith in the spirit of 125 crore Indians, let us pledge towwards cleanliness. Let us ensure that the coming days are about the mantra of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva. A clean India is the most noble service we can do for the poor, downtrodden and the marginalized.”

It was also mentioned in the letter that cinema is one of the most “effective” mediums to bring about a change at a large scale. This is so true!

With greetings from Amman, Bollywood sensation Priyanka Chopra poses alongside Queen Rania Al- Abdullah from Jordan, another force known for her advocacy work in education, health, community empowerment. The two look stunning together and the Bajirao Mastani actress called it a privilege to meet her again, while on her journey for the UNICEF mission for children in Jordan. 

Her awe and admiration is evident in her Instagram post: “I had the privilege and honor of meeting Her Majesty, @queenrania of Jordan again…this time in Amman. It is amazing to see the full extent of support that the Kingdom of Jordan has provided during the ongoing Syrian refugee crises. The numbers are staggering and overwhelming but the good work continues day after day.”


She adds: “Queen Rania is a true inspiration. Her tireless efforts to help those in need comes straight from the heart and has always been consistent.. as a UNICEF Eminent Advocate for Children, she leads by example as is so evident by the countless programmes for children that she is involved in. Katrina Kaif was moved to tears on the sets of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

This Christmas, be ready as one of the most anticipated films of this year ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is scheduled to release around the same time.


The cast and crew who were recently shooting in Abu Dhabi have kept us posted about the filmmaking all this while through number of pictures and videos.


But this time actress of the film Katrina Kaif personally shot a video where she and the director of ‘Tiger Zinda HaiAli Abbas Zafar are seen having a fun conversation. Abbas mentions how Aditya Chopra is quite impressed with Katrina’s performance in the movie. They duo say that it’s an emotional moment as the shoot for the film is almost nearing its end. Abbas says “It’s been an emotional journey and a really special one. I hope we will all smile on Christmas.”


Towards the end of the video you will notice Katrina getting emotional, and just then Abbas says cut!
