Now seems like the right time to block your calendars!

Kangana Ranaut’s new look from Panga is here!

Kangana Ranaut yet again proved her strong presence in Bollywood with her recent films like Manikarnika -The Queen of Jhansi and Judgemental Hai Kya. On one hand, she can be the poised ruler of the kingdom or play an eccentric avatar of not getting judged. She has got it all and that’s what sets her apart.

It seems that the Queen is unstoppable as she will be seen in her next big project Panga. Helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film is a sports drama where she will be playing the role of a mother as well as a kabaddi player. Kangana’s sister Rangoli was the one to reveal her first look of the film on Twitter. We all need a sibling like Rangoli who stands strong for her sister in whatever the situation may be. As goes the famous saying ‘Sisters Before Misters’, this one is true here, right?!

Soon the director, as well, shared the exciting news on Instagram. She also unveiled the film’s release date through the hashtag in the caption – “Human life is complex and incredible. May be that’s why storytellers were born”. #justthinking #Pangastories #Panga #24Jan2020”. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendar, as the film’s trailer will be launched on 23rd December,2019.

The film also stars several talented personalities – Richa Chadda, Neena Gupta, Jassie Gill and Pankaj Tripathi in its key roles. Now the real panga is that the makers have to watch out for Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D which is also slated to release on 24th January, 2020. Other than Panga, Kangana is also the leading lady in the upcoming biopic Thalaivi, where she essays the role of Jayalalithaa.

Kangana Ranaut as Thalaivi!

Kangana Ranaut has not only marked her place in the movies but also in the world of fashion. Her stunning performance in the 2014 film Queen reigned our hearts as well as the box office. Her character choices are out of the box, distinct and mesmerizing at the same time. Well clearly, that’s what sets her apart from the rest.

Likewise, the Tanu weds Manu actress will be seen depicting the life of Jayalalithaa in her biopic titled Thailaivi. We’ve seen the first look of the film and we have to say that Kangana Ranaut is totally unrecognizable! She is candid, effortless and brings so much life to this character.

Here’s the poster and teaser of the much awaited film:

The title Thalaivi means a leader in Tamil as the story is based on the life of Jayalalithaa – a late film actress and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu. It takes a lot of effort and hard work to perfect the lifestyle of such extraordinary personality. The film is directed by A. L. Vijay and is set to hit the screens in June, 2020. We think Kangana Ranaut has got it right, what about you?

Kangana Ranaut is headed to an Ivy league school.

The ever-so bold and extremely beautiful Kangana Ranaut has never shied away from speaking her mind. She is known for her straight forwardness and gallant attitude.

Now Kanagana is all set to go deliver not one but two speeches at Harvard. She will speak on two topics in particular, ‘The Changing Entertainment Landscape in India’ and ‘Disrupting the Indian Mainstream Cinema’.

The actress has previously mentioned how she comes from a family of well-educated people who are doctors, pilots, and professors whereas, she is a college drop out. Hence being invited to speak at an Ivy league school like Harvard is surely a big deal for her.

When a leading daily asked her about the news announcement she said, “There was a niggling worry at the back of my mind that what if my children sniggered, ‘What do you know?’ Education or the lack of it, and English which was once a roadblock to conversation makes me value such opportunities”

The actress is currently shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.

Kangana Ranaut’s movie Simran has got our attention

After her marvelous work in Queen, Kangana Ranaut has raised the bars for herself. The actress who won a national award for the movie, has gone on to portray yet another interesting character in her upcoming movie Simran.

The much-awaited trailer of the movie is finally out and as expected we were not disappointed. Kangana is seen playing a Gujrati woman who is a divorcee and believes in living her life on her own terms. The trailer goes on to show that she is a kleptomaniac who pulls of a disguise every time she goes to rob a store.

The movie is mainly shot in Atlanta in the US. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie also stars Soham Shah and is scheduled to release on the 15th of September.

Kangana Ranaut says NO to social media

Ever since it’s conceptualization, social media has always played as a bridge that closes the gap between celebs and their fans. Many of our B-Town celebs are pretty active on social media, interacting with their fans and followers.

Of course, Kanana Ranaut is not your usual B-Town celeb. While she loves her fans and appreciates their support, she does not believe in joining the social media bandwagon.

When asked about her thoughts on social media and their implications, here’s what she had to say, I am not on the platform. I feel there are two sides to any coin. If they (celebrities) like to enjoy the pampering and the likes, it’s one thing. Then when it goes the other way and you think ‘people are not liking me anymore’ it’s a problem. I do miss seeing moments where I can post a picture and get likes from a million people, but at the same time, I know the repercussions. There are times when everybody will be annoyed with something. They have to understand the frivolous nature of the platform and not take it too seriously.”

Even so, we would love to see the queen on social media. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
