What starts out as the protagonist’s decision to travel solo, turns into a lifechanging journey as she explore the streets of Paris and Amsterdam. From self-exploration to self-actualization, the movie helps our imagination run wild only leaving us with the strong desire for a solo trip abroad.
Tamasha help bring the beautiful city of Corsica to life with it’s almost perfect scenery and never seen before destinations. While the city use to be a rare travel destination, the movie brought to light what everyone had been missing out on, leaving each one of us with our next travel destination.
4. Dil Chahta Hai
While the movie itself was about the travel, the friends trip to Goa is what inspired the 90’s kids to get out of town and explore what the south has to offer. Till date Goa remains a youth getaway destination.
5. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
From the snow clad European mountains to the lush field of Punjab, the movie inspired travel and romance in the hearts of young Indians.

Whoever said the sea were not meant for everybody? Dil Dhadakne Do takes us on a cruise trip through the beautiful waters of Turkey, Spain and Tunisia. Even with the family drama, the movie does not miss to showcase the beauty of the places the characters explore.
9. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
This movie is every youths dream come true. From a group trip to Manali, to a grand destination wedding in Rajasthan, the movie has it all. Centered around the lives of four friends, the movie teaches how to get through life, love and of course travel.
10. Anjaana Anjaani
What starts out as a final journey for the protagonists (before they can end their lives), turns out to be the most beautiful journey from New York to Las Vegas. From wild deserts to the city lights in Vegas, the movie will give me major road trip goals.
11. Jab We Met
This movie is a whole new level of road trips and self-explorational journeys. From the white streets of Manali to the green filed in Punjab, this movie will not only inspire you to fall in love but also make you fall in love with the beauty of India.
