Aamir Khan’s Dangal to release on 9000 screens in China?

Aamir Khan 2016 Blockbuster film, Dangal, was loved by many worldwide. The movie was a biopic on Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trained his two daughters to wrestle their way in to the Commonwealth Games.

After all the appreciation and love received by the movie, it is all set to win the hearts of the audience in China. The movie was earlier opened at the Beijing Film Festival and has opened on 9000+ screens, out of the 40,000 screens that China possesses, today. The movie has been released under the name, Shuai Jiao Baba, meaning ‘Let’s wrestle Dad’.

Aamir Khan’s previous film PK was also released on the Chinese screen and made a whopping 100 crore INR. Dangal, release in December last year has replaced PK as the highest-earning-film of Indian cinema, only to get replaced by Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Here’s hoping that the amazing biopic gets the reception it deserves in the Chinese market and continues to make India proud.
