Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor are all set to star in the Hindi adaptation of Hollywood film The Intern. Making it official on social media, the actors have already got us over the moon with this exciting news. After Love Aaj Kal, we are eager to see them work their magic on-screen.
Speaking about the plot, it revolves around a 70-year-old widower who is an intern at fashion start-up managed by a young fashion entrepreneur. Showcasing their unique relationship, the original film stars Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway in pivotal roles. Now we cannot wait to see Deepika Padukone as an ultimate fashion diva and the evergreen Rishi Kapoor reprise this special bond.

Both actors are elated to be a part of this BIG project and so are we. In a recent interview, Deepika Padukone revealed, “The Intern is an intimate, relationship-driven film, set in and around the workplace; a story that I believe is very relevant to the present-day social and cultural environment. I have been looking for a light, breezy comedy-drama and this story fits in seamlessly. I cannot wait to begin this journey.”
