Some while back, Mr. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that his next directorial venture will star the super hero Kamal Haasan. While the title and following details about the film were not announced the director finally took to social media to announce all about the film on the occasion of Kamal Haasan’s birthday. As per reports and trusted sources, we’ve got to know that film will be a hard-hitting political thriller. The makers of Vikram shared the film’s title,  teaser and Kamal Haasan’s first look as bonus on his birthday – 7th November!

He wrote, “Dear Guru..This is our humble gift to you sir.. Wishing you a very happy birthday. Please do keep inspiring us always sir @ikamalhaasan”.

The teaser reveals Kamal Haasan first preparing a meal and getting ready to eat the plater on a banana leaf. This is later followed by a group of men wearing masks sitting at a dinner table. A connection with last supper is made here. Towards the end, Kamal looks into the camera and asks in his intense voice, “Shall we start it?” The teaser ends with Kamal Haasan throwing two axes at someone with the the film’s title being revealed.

Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is expected to be a power-packed political drama. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
